Keys to the Universe “The Sharaj – Pt. 4”

Welcome to another feature of the Keys to the Universe. A soon to be official guide for my upcoming book series.

Factions of The Terran Myth: Episode I Faction 2.

The Sharaj “The Unknown History – Part 4”

(NOTE:The order that the factions are listed does not in anyways symbolize their Significance)

The Sharaj (Sh-ah -rah) or (Sh-ah-raj)
It is said they will “Claim a new Empire.”

The defenseless System of Warrata, realizing how hopeless their struggle would be, surrendered within a day.

Appearing that they were obviously going to be invaded, The Anarrajens began a military and security build up.

Seqqite decided to cloak his dagger and play a game of deception. He initiated a campaign for peace with the Anarrajens while building up his military. He also began seeking outside help for his new fleet.

Seqqite hired dozens of professionals out of their region of space. During his travels to Anarraj for the peace talks, he would discreetly transport them back to Warrata on his personal transport.

Peace talks between the Sharaj and Anarraj ended unsuccessful. At least in the eye’s of Anarrajens.

The Sharaj fleet finished its refit 16 months after the end of the peace talks.
3 months after the completion of the refit; Sharaj Attacked.

Keys to the Universe “The Sharaj – Pt. 3”

Welcome to another feature of the Keys to the Universe. A soon to be official guide for my upcoming book series.

Factions of The Terran Myth: Episode I Faction 2.

The Sharaj “The Unknown History – Part 3”

(NOTE:The order that the factions are listed does not in anyways symbolize their Significance)

The Sharaj (Sh-ah -rah) or (Sh-ah-raj)
It is said they will “Claim a new Empire.”

Their next target Seqqite wanted overtake was Warrata, but it proved to be difficult. The Anarraj supplied the fearful government of the Warrata with dozens of derelict warships, most being battleships. The Anarraj intelligence was aware that the Sharajen’s lack adequate combat capable warships. The derelict warships were the equipped with cheaply bought ship crews and given a few basic upgrades. Just enough to stand up to the Sharajen’s space Force.

Sharaj operatives caught wind of this and informed their leaders. Raqqite Sharaj devised a risky course of action to gain his victory. Instead of using his superior ground forces as they should be used. Raqqite used them to board the warships through open space.

Over a dozen transports jumped into the Warrata’s core world sensors range. The transports then went dark, cruising towards the stationary derelict fleet. Once in range the Sharraj launch over a hundred thousand assault troopers. Hurling them through space.

The Sharaj suffered tens of thousand of casualties, the majority due to malfunctioning spacesuits. Fortunately the Sharajen’s superior combatants over threw the inexperienced merchants. In toll they capture 36 warships. A few other ships were too damaged during the fight. Due to the lack of qualified personnel to repair them, those ships were converted for training purposes.

The Lost Fleet Series

This is a feature about the original series of Jack Cambell’s book series know as “The Lost Fleet,” not the two additional book series that take place within the expanded universe.

John G. Hemry inspired me early into the year, being the 3rd saga I ventured into. Literally, it kept me up for hours reading. At home, at work or even on the road, I wasn’t able to put it down/turn it off.

I have always wanted to do an adaptation of what it would be like if King Arthur were to return. Luckily for me, this book series hits the nail on the head of anything I could have envisioned.

Yes, like any author there are aspects you’ll come to appreciate and hate. I will not cover anything negative because my opinions are never the same case as yours. I will never say anything to take away from the hard work good authors put into their works. Even a single great idea, is still a great idea.

But if it sucks, then it sucks. I won’t post about the ones I can’t cope with. I won’t do that to readers either.

The Original Lost Fleet. (Read the following slowly got dramatic effect)

Taking place in the far reaching future where mankind has been ultimately divided in two and has been in a century long conflict.

Morals are gone, Hope is gone, Honor is gone.

There has been 100 years of a war, that no one could tell you why it started; not even the Nation that started it. Except for a few who hide the truth.

On one side you have the Alliance (democratic republic) and on the other there are the Syndics (corporate snakes); both have battled it out for so long that barbarism is their only tactic in warfare.

Image the Ancient Greeks going blow for blow in a straight forward conflict but now add it with super advance weapons, Starships and battle worn spirits.

Imagine you are found in survivor sleep where you have been for over a century. This is the world you wake up in. This is the world that John “Back Jack” Geary brings you into.

He was there at the first battle of the War, nearly 100 years earlier, and he will be there to help you survive to see its’ end.

He brings morals where there was none, he brings hope when all was lost, and he brings honor where there was shame.

He is Black Jack, the legendary hero of The Alliance.

So go enjoy yourselves, in the Universe of the Lost fleet. Find it here at Good Reads

Keys to the Universe “The Sharaj – Pt. 2”

The Sharaj “The Unknown History – Part 2”

(NOTE:The order that the factions are listed does not in anyways symbolize their Significance)

The Sharaj (Sh-ah-rah) or (Sh-ah-raj)
It is said they will “Claim a new Empire.”

After a long period of peace, while the Sharaj expanded its military power, they broke out into a dual system war. Focusing more on ground warfare than space. They lacked adequate warships and used reconfigured cargo freighters to transport the bulk of their forces.

They soon enveloped both systems into their Empire; using their vast numbers to overwhelm the divided and underdeveloped nations. These nations would quickly surrender ownership.

Mandomn wanted to halt his expansion to build up their already stretch thin military. He would die a few years later and his son Reqqite Sharaj will be voted into the position of Supreme Leader.

Raqqite planned his next conquest for a border system that connected their growing empire to their former birth world, Anarraj. His ultimate goal would be bringing Anarraj into the Sharajen Empire. Anarraj, by now, unified its own star system of 11 worlds and drafted its self as a successful ships builders. They were also a proud owner of a Tireh DeciMyraidium Gate. It was the jewel the Sharaj needed to become a recognized power.

Keys to the Universe “The Sharaj – Pt. 1”

Welcome to another feature of the Keys to the Universe. A soon to be official guide for my upcoming book series.

Factions of The Terran Myth: Episode I Faction 2.

The Sharaj “The Unknown History – Part 1”

(NOTE:The order that the factions are listed does not in anyways symbolize their Significance)

The Sharaj (Sh-ah-rah) or (Sh-ah-raj)
It is said they will “Claim a new Empire.”

Colors often related to their Faction: Brown, Tan, Black and White.

Government Type: Constitution Dictatorship
Attribute: Aggressive Territorial Expansionist
Galactic Influence: Insignificant
Threat Level: 4
Tier Level: II

The Sharaj wouldn’t consider themselves as the “new kids on the block” like many larger powers in existence see them. Their colony was one of the first created after their birth world of Anarraj, a quickly developing earth like planet, entered into its industrial boom.

Sharajen’s derived their name from their home planet of Sharaj, which is mostly a desert covered planet.

It took them decades to develop enough of a significant infrastructure to reach back into the stars. Their leader, Mandomn Sharaj (The leaders and their leader’s family replace their last name to the name of their people to show their blood lines importance. No one else has this honor), in response to threats of pirates, devised a plan to save his people. Mandomn convinced his people that their only protection from outside forces would be through their strength as a unified people.

WithIn years Mandomn convinced the other slowly developing colonies in their solar system to unite together under one flag. Three did, while one did not. Using its increased numbers and stronger ground force, The Sharaj conquered the unwieldier neighbor. The Sharaj People anointed Mandomn as thier Supreme Leader.

The Growing Post

As I’m sure some may have realized I have skipped a day on maintaining at least one post a day as I have been doing.

The reason why that came to be, was due to a much longer detailed history to one of my minor factions of TMU (Terran myth universe).

As you will see in the next week, I will outline a fun history of the faction known as the Sharaj. If you don’t read it here on the blog then you will miss out because it will not be mentioned in the novels.

Which brings me to another fine purpose. This blog is the filler for information that may be requested or information you have had no idea you wanted to know about TMU.

So As always! Stay tuned!

You are all great!

Terran Myth 2nd Update

I have solidified my position at being halfway done!

After a scene revision, and lots of research to ensure what I was writing made sense. I have officially set my foundation for a solid halfway point.

Also, the first book may cross just slightly over 100k words due to the awesome action sequence I didn’t realize I was being sucked into. And there are still a few more sequences I have yet to write. We shall cross that bridge when we come too it.

Smile folks! It was pretty awesome to be able write these things!

I refrain from releasing any spoiler alerts or plot details because it is part of why I like writing. (To tease the anticipation of the masses.) Tomorrow I shall be one chapter closer to my quickly approaching “micro-goal” to being 4/5ths of the way done. Hopefully I’ll be typing most of the chapters going into Christmas.

No Fears of becoming focused.

The title of this post is very miss leading and vague. Most of you would think it means that I’m not going to be focused on anything. This is not true.

I focus intently on my stories that I write, at least one at a time. However I will not become known for only one book or become focused primary on the genre of SF. I am solely an action guy; action from ancient, medieval, and all types of warfare leading into a dreamy future.

This currently is my SF saga that I have been desiring to bring to life for sometime. There are many other worlds I have drafted that I will bring to life, but at a much later date.

Action is action, no matter the sub genre.

I just wanted people to know my versatilities do not lie within a focused specific genre on the spectrum of writing.

So stay tuned for many many many great worlds, stories, and alternate realities that the madness in my mind stirs up.

More to come!

The madness of a rough draft.

I am a Classic in a way. As are many other authors in the world.

For me when it comes to wanting to tell a story I prefer writing it first. Why? To me It feels more of the art style that it really is. Plus I like feeling as if I wrote every letter of every word that made the story.

BUT I feel my artistic side likes to come out while I’m writing, the more “draw longs lines and break the rules of the page.

Here is what my madness looks like:
Yes I added a slight blur to prevent content disclosure. You can see see the madness.

In my head this is whatever everyone else’s looks like.

This was just a fun post,

Stay tuned folks!

Rogue Intelligence 2nd Update

Imagine yourself in-control of a warship on patrol out on the frontier of mankind’s reach into space. You with 9 others are tasked to enforce the laws and keep the peace with command over an Ancient Artificial Intelligence. Your enemies are everywhere where; ranging from pirates, corrupt governments (civil and marshal), gangs, and hostile militia forces.

You ask yourself, how does an AI make a difference with only 10 people, while only 4 of those 10 are combat oriented? Easy. Your AI companion effectively controls the whole ship, limiting the stress of command. As well this AI comes with an accompaniment of neat “toys,” at your disposal.

Your Command Assets:
-4 Company’s of Centurion Basic Combat Robots aka Androids (Droids). (800 Units)
-2 Platoons of Special Operation Advance Androids with Synthetic Skin cover. (86 units)
-Attack Fighters built for dual-purpose operation in deep-space and down in an Atmosphere. (16 units)
-Transports capable of transferring a platoon size element at a time. (4 units)
-Starship’s mounted weapons; ship to ship and orbital bombardments (OB’s are highly discouraged/last or extreme means)
-Ship Fabricators that are used to replace any units that are lost, broken, or malfunctioned.

And to top it all off you can’t call for assistance. You, your team, and the AI are all the help you will ever have. Fleet command see’s it as a waste of resources to have more than one asset teaming up on patrol. Command see one patrol ship being more than enough capable to handle any situation that can occur on the frontier.

How would you handle these situations? Could you save the innocents trapped within the grips of many hostile forces or will you play it safe and only insure things don’t get out of control.
