A Semi-Accomplishment.

I decided to dance to a new beat of the drum. Instead of what many would consider my normal day, which consists of me coming home, gym, food, and complaining about being too tired to write; I decided to take some energy pills right after work. You know, just to it spice it up.

Yes, I can hear your remarks alread about that being insane.. Just kidding, more people do than you think. And yes I was extremely tired when I woke up for work this morning. Coffee cured that.

So about last last night…

I crunched out an entire 10,000 word section of my story in the matter of hours. I wouldn’t have stop until I realized my caffeine was wearing off. I.e. Words, with unknown origins began appearing before every me; some a combination of two or more words and others I had no clue to how I created it. My mind was done and so was I!

Due to the exciting pace the story had reach I’ll be writing again tonight! Not that often when I have this kind of “awake time.”

Stay tuned!

  1. Well done? I certainly condone the effort, and the rewards, but I should probably not say anything about the method.

I’m curious, though, have you read through it yet? How much of it do you think is usable? Did you find yourself more able to relax and enjoy your own creativity?

    1. I usually read through it during the second phase of writing, but interesting enough I had to stop and review it this afternoon during my lunch break. At the rate I was crunching those numbers out, my handing cramping on more than one occasion, I was very much able to relax and enjoy the story. I never really know the full story until i write it, I just know where it all will lead. It’s exciting for me, as I’m sure many writers feel the same way when they are doing the same. As for how much of it is useable, I have confirmed it is all needed. I believe I actually undercut myself (which I’m correcting as we speak) in efforts to not add any boring pauses to the action sequence. I confided with some trusted advisors and they agreed I should maintain my pace.

    1. Thank you, and forgive me for late acknowledgements. I have a bad habit of getting distracted from time to time. I hope you drink water when you try this method; caffeine pills can dehydrate you pretty quickly.

  2. You actually make it seem really easy with your presentation but I find this
matter to be really one thing that I think I might by no means understand.
It seems too complicated and extremely extensive for me.
I am taking a look forward on your next submit, I will try to get the hold
    of it!
